Every journey starts with a single step, and this is mine. I’ve created this space to share my thoughts, learnings, and experiments in the world of software development.

What to Expect

This blog will be a collection of:

• Project showcases - Sharing what I’m building and the lessons learned along the way

The Stack

This blog is built with modern, minimal tools:

• Astro - A fast, content-focused web framework that lets me write in Markdown (and MDX!)
• Tailwind CSS - For clean, utility-first styling
• GitHub Pages - Simple, reliable hosting
• Giscus - GitHub Discussions-powered comments, because why reinvent the wheel?

The design is intentionally minimal - cream background, monospace fonts, and a focus on readability. No unnecessary JavaScript, no bloat, just content.

Why “Let there be light”?

It’s a nod to beginnings - to the act of creating something from nothing, of bringing ideas into existence. Plus, it felt appropriate for the first post on a new blog.
